Each year multiple Certified Teachers (CTs) from the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) travel to South Carolina for the Upstate's premier stage combat workshop. Training can include Unarmed, Rapier & Dagger, Single Sword, Broadsword, Knife, Quarterstaff, Whip, Kali Sticks, Intimacy & more!

2-DAY DARK CORNER STAGE COMBAT WORKSHOP
Each year multiple Certified Teachers (CTs) from the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) travel to South Carolina for the Upstate's premier stage combat workshop.
Spanning 2 days with 5 class periods each day, training can include classes in Unarmed, Rapier & Dagger, Single Sword, Broadsword, Knife, Quarterstaff, Whip, Kali Sticks, Intimacy, & more!
MAY 15 - 16
6-DAY SPT COURSE*
After 30+ hours of training in a specific weapon with an SAFD Certified Teacher, students will complete their Skills Proficiency Test (SPT): a performed fight scene adjudicated by an SAFD Fight Master. If students’ work meets SAFD criteria for safety and dramatic effectiveness, students receive SAFD Proficiency Certificates.
